Tropolism.com
Following upon a successful project as Front End Architect for Coolhunting.com, Captain Lucas contracted me to build Tropolism.com, their web site about architecture and urbanism. I made the sale, wrote the statement of work, and created the front end architecture. I carefully delivered fully standards-compliant and accessible page templates, integrated them into a Movable Type content management system, and provided clear code and documentation. The HTML, JavaScript, and CSS handled all common browsers — old, current, and upcoming.
Making the sale, achieving client satisfaction, and delivering the technical product was great practice for my career as Product Manager. The experience performing aspects of so many roles — from Account Manager, to Front End Web Developer, QA Engineer, and Technical Writer — enriches my perspective leading front end development teams, and as Sales Engineer.
The successful completion of this project led to additional contracts as Front End Developer for Needled.com and MTV's Flux.com.
