Flux.com

Upon successfully delivering coolhunting.com, tropolism.com, and needled.com, I was sub-contracted as Front End Architect for MTV's Flux.com, which we launched as a web site for selling ringtones and wallpapers to customize mobile phones. I created the new front end page templates, delivered cross-browser and accessible HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and wrote clear code and documentation. The tiles featured at the top of the page were selected randomly from the rotating set of available wallpapers, differently for each page load. Cleanly displaying these random images behind the swooped curve of the navigation element required creatively working around some quirks that plagued web browsers at the time.

This was another project among many in which I served a client-facing front end development role on a digital media initiative. I won the contract, supplied the technical expertise, and managed the client relationship. This experience contributes toward a strong foundation as Product Manager and Sales Engineer, and lends an informed perspective leading front end development teams.
